Gordon Scerri appointed as KDM Group CFO and Brian Scicluna joins Aviaserve as Head of Finance

KDM Group has announced a key addition to its executive leadership with the appointment of Gordon Scerri as Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO), while Aviaserve Ltd, Malta’s leading independent ground handling company, has welcomed Brian Scicluna as its new Head of Finance — marking a strategic strengthening of financial expertise across both organisations.

In his new role as Group CFO of KDM Group, Gordon Scerri will be responsible for guiding the financial strategy of the diversified Malta-based conglomerate, which has interests spanning in aviation services, security, transport, mobility solutions, travel and more. Scerri brings extensive cross-industry experience and a track record of driving financial performance and governance, positioning him to play a central role in supporting KDM Group’s continued growth and operational excellence.

Concurrently, Aviaserve Ltd has expanded its senior finance team with the appointment of Brian Scicluna as Head of Finance. Scicluna joins Aviaserve at a time of growth for the company, where he will oversee financial planning, reporting and performance management to support the company’s long-term strategic objectives. His appointment reflects Aviaserve’s commitment to enhancing financial leadership as it continues to build on its success in handling ground operations for an expanding roster of international airline partners at Malta International Airport.

Gordon Scerri’s proven financial leadership — including over 25 years of experience in finance across multiple sectors — and Brian Scicluna’s fresh perspective in financial management underscore both organisations’ dedication to strong financial stewardship as they navigate evolving industry opportunities.

These appointments come at an exciting time for the Maltese business and aviation sectors, with both KDM Group and Aviaserve poised for continued strategic development and service expansion in 2026 and beyond.
