KDM Group Marks New Aviation Milestone with Emirates SkyCargo GSSA Appointment

Effective 1 May 2027, Top 3 Cargo, a subsidiary of the  Kdm Group, led by Director Michael Gatt, will assume the role of General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for Emirates SkyCargo in Malta. This appointment marks an important development for Top 3 Cargo, further strengthening the Group’s presence in the aviation and logistics sectors.  To ensure a seamless transition and maintain continuity of service, the existing team ( Andre Mifsud and Davika Sukumaran) from the previous GSSA will be joining Top 3 Cargo, bringing with them extensive industry experience, valuable expertise and established customer relationships. The team will be led by Kamran Alshinawi, who will take on the role of Cargo Manager, overseeing the company’s commercial and operational activities.

In its capacity as GSSA, Top 3 Cargo will be responsible for the local sales, marketing and commercial representation of Emirates SkyCargo, while providing a comprehensive range of cargo services. These will include cargo reservations and bookings, capacity management, customer support, shipment coordination, documentation, revenue reporting and the development of relationships with freight forwarders and local business partners. The team will also focus on promoting Emirates SkyCargo’s extensive international network and specialised cargo solutions, ensuring customers in Malta continue to benefit from its global reach and service offering.

With an experienced team and a strong foundation in the local aviation industry, Top 3 Cargo will build on the existing business relationships while further developing Emirates SkyCargo’s presence in the Maltese market. The transition reflects the Group’s continued commitment to expanding its aviation portfolio and delivering reliable, customer-focused services.
